The Argo Bar Stool

The Argo Bar Stool is part of the Argo collection. This comfortable stool has fine brass rope-effect legs with a cube detail linking the plain brass foot bars and a decorative twisted brass handle. The exceptional reeded ‘rope’ is formed using a die to replicate the original fluting, before the twist is applied. The stool is offered in a choice of Soane Metal Finishes with depth-buttoned upholstery carried out by our Dorset craftsmen using Soane in-house Leathers or the client’s own fabric.

The upholstery filling of this design is made using natural materials.

Available in Antique and Polished Brass, Polished Nickel or Soane's special Topkapi Gilt.

With a depth buttoned upholstered seat and brass handle and nylon glides.

All of our metal finishes are hand applied, living finishes and unlacquered, and we expect these to age and patina over time, this includes our samples.

Lead Time +

14 weeks. Please allow an additional 2 weeks for plated finishes.

Lead time on quantities of 6 or more will need to be confirmed in advance of order.

Lead time will start from receipt of deposit and confirmation of all specifications.

10 weeks must be allowed from receipt of COM/COL.

Delivery +

Carriage charges can be quoted upon confirmation of the delivery address.

Upholstery +

Materials: British organic wool, natural graphite latex, coconut coir, wool based interliner, webbing

COL: 50 sq ft sq ft of clean leather, free of extreme imperfections. We recommend sending an entire hide to achieve the best upholstery results.
