Cherry Buffalo Hide Goat Grain Leather

Embossed to replicate goatskin, Soane's buffalo hide goat grain leather is tanned by one of the last remaining tanneries in Britain. It is naturally dyed, without the use of chromium, giving it great depth and atmosphere. With a more pronounced textured grain than cow hide leather, buffalo hide is wonderfully tactile and is particularly suitable for use on desk tops and furniture upholstery. As leather is a natural material and every hide is unique, please note that our leather will have natural imperfections and colour variations.

Vegetable tanned Buffalo Calfskin embossed with a Moroccan Goatskin grain, hand finished with a cellulose based lacquer to protect against direct sunlight and light spillages.
This is natural leather with the unique surface characteristics of the animal hide remaining visible. As such, a degree of natural marks and shade variation should be expected, making every hide unique, the colouration of each will vary as each hide reacts differently to the vegetable dye.
This leather has passed the Cigarette FR test BS 5852: Part 1 1979.
