The Nureyev Trolley with Side Rails - Medium

This is an adaptation of The Nureyev Trolley inspired by a French 1940s drinks trolley owned by ballet dancer Rudolph Nureyev. Made by craftsmen in Sheffield, it has a tubular brass frame with neat brass rings and ‘cod-mouth’ detailing at the joints. Two pairs of naturalistic hands cast in solid brass hold the end rails, each finished with decorative solid brass finials. Side rails have small brass finials fixed atop each spindle. The hooded castors are in solid brass. Shelves are in 6mm clear tempered glass. To read the full story behind the Nureyev Trolley see our Journal post Rudolf Nureyev’s Trolley.
