Elephantine

The bold, monumentally scaled chevron pattern of this fabric takes its inspiration from the river Nile and is named after the island on the Nile at Aswan. The hieroglyph for the letter ‘N’ is in the form of a chevron, and the design appears repeatedly in Egyptian imagery.
