The Rattan Aviary Lantern

Taking inspiration from an original bird cage in Soane’s collection, this generously proportioned yet refined rattan lantern has an intricate cane frame with meticulously wrapped joints and decorative details. Hand-woven by expert weavers in Soane’s Leicestershire rattan workshop in England, the design casts a dappled light, creating curious shadows.

This design is compatible with an Osh bulb fitting and therefore can be used in a bathroom.

This is an original Soane Britain design and as such is protected by registered design rights.

Details +

Available in Soane's standard rattan finishes.

Supplied with;
1 x 1000mm Medium Brass Solid Oval Chain
1 solid brass 'S' hook.
UK/US: Single-hook ceiling rose
Fixing screws are provided.
All metal work will be finished in Antique Brass.
Ceiling Rose/Canopy will be drilled with one hole for electrification. Fixing holes to be drilled on site unless specified.

All of our metal finishes are hand applied, living finishes and unlacquered, and we expect these to age and patina over time, this includes our samples.
