The Rattan Virginia Bedside Chest

This is an original Soane design loosely inspired by a Louis XV style basketweave commode once owned by Bunny Mellon. This small bedside chest has a curvaceous form with fine split-cane beaded detailing surrounding the silhouette of its two drawers, meticulously wrapped rattan legs and a solid ash top. It is available in a choice of rattan finishes with antique brass handles.

A curvaceous bedside table with two drawers and with a woven rattan sides top and solid ash top, and antique brass pull handles.

Available in Soane's standard rattan finishes. The handles are purchased directly from our workshop in a pre-finished antique brass. Please note that this does not match our Soane standard finishes and will vary in colour and tone. Please speak to Sales operations if you require a different finish.

Please allow a 20mm tolerance for all rattan pieces, as these are made of a hand-woven natural product.

Lead Time +

18 weeks. Lead time on quantities of 6 or more will need to be confirmed in advance of order.

Lead time will start from receipt of deposit and confirmation of all specifications.

Delivery +

Carriage charges can be quoted upon confirmation of the delivery address.
