The Spoonbill Chair

The elegant Spoonbill Chair is based on a pair of early nineteenth century chairs. Made by chair makers in Surrey, the reimagined chair mirrors the original curvaceous, scrolled design, but omits the decorative carving for a cleaner look. It is traditionally upholstered in a Soane in-house (or client’s own) fabric or leather with nailheads in a selection of finishes.

The upholstery filling of this design is made using natural materials.

Available in Soane's Ebonised Oak, Waxed Pale Oak and Limed Oak.

Our castors are purchased directly from our workshop in a pre-finished antique brass. Please note that this does not match our Soane standard finishes and will vary in colour and tone. Please speak with your Account Manager if you require a different finish.

This design has been made for domestic use and has not been tested for a non-domestic environment.

Lead Time +

16 weeks. Lead time on quantities of 6 or more will need to be confirmed in advance of order.

Lead time will start from receipt of deposit and confirmation of all specifications.

8 weeks must be allowed from receipt of COM/COL.

Delivery +

Carriage charges can be quoted upon confirmation of the delivery address.

Upholstery +

Materials: British organic wool, feather & down cushion, hessian, horsehair, wool based interliner, webbing

COL: 72 sq ft of clean leather, free of extreme imperfections. We recommend sending an entire hide to achieve the best upholstery results.
