Elephantine – Mirage – Weave

The bold, monumentally scaled chevron pattern of this fabric takes its inspiration from the river Nile and is named after the island on the Nile at Aswan. The hieroglyph for the letter ‘N’ is in the form of a chevron, and the design appears repeatedly in Egyptian imagery. Woven from cotton, viscose and flax, the natural ground of the fabric has an organic, colour-flecked texture. Ideal for upholstery, curtains and paper backed fabric walling.

All of our fabrics have passed the Cigarette FR test but will either need to be used in combination with a suitable FR interliner or backcoating to meet the relevant FR standards.
