Seraphic Star Wallpaper – Bastille

Seraphic Star takes its inspiration from a late 18th Century ‘chafarcani’ cotton quilt in Lulu’s collection. The term chafarcani, or as it is sometimes known Jaffarcanis, refers to a type of simple, wood-block printed fabric that became popular in the South of France following its introduction from India, and later from the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century.

The joyous simplicity of the design on cotton has been translated into a fresh but atmospheric wallpaper. Each is suitable for large and small spaces and ideal for adding character to both modern and historic interiors.
