The Owl Flush Ceiling Light

The distinctive Owl Flush Ceiling Light is made entirely by hand by skilled Sheffield silversmiths. Brass 'feathers' are cut to graduating sizes and welded in layers to the bodice-like frame. The light hangs from the ceiling by one metal rod and ceiling plate surrounded by smaller brass ‘feathers’. Because the light has an open base it provides atmospheric rather than task lighting, with the teardrop shaped openings casting a wonderful dappled light.

This design is compatible with an Osh bulb fitting and therefore can be used in a bathroom.

Available in Soane's standard metal finishes, except Antique Bronze and Antique Silver

All internal fittings/metalwork will be in antique brass. Fixing holes to be drilled on site unless specified.

Fixing screws are provided.

Please note when used with an Osh bulb, only the Osh bulb is IP44 rated not the light fitting. We are unable to provide the light with an overall IP44 certification.

All of our metal finishes are hand applied, living finishes and unlacquered, and we expect these to age and patina over time, this includes our samples.

Soane lighting designs and products are fully compliant with industry regulations LIAQA accreditation. We can provide either a CE Declaration of Conformity (for Europe), or a UKCA Declaration of Conformity (UK only).

This design has been made for the domestic use and has not been tested for a non-domestic environment.

Lead Time +

12 weeks. Please allow an additional 2 weeks for plated finishes. Lead time on quantities of 6 or more will need to be confirmed in advance of order.
