Nile Tile

Ceramic tiles, made by hand in Stoke on Trent. The handmade process creates tiles that have very subtle variations in their surface and size. Crazing, shade and size variation are all inherent characteristics of these tiles. The tile colours have been drawn from a 19th-century Egyptian tent panel in Soane’s collection.
