The Rattan Neith Dining Table

This dining table is named for the Ancient Egyptian goddess Neith, who was associated with the spider and known as the goddess of creation and weaving. Loosely inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement’s spiderweb silhouettes, it has a useful top in plain timber and its form has been re-imagined in rattan by weavers in Soane’s own Leicestershire workshop.
