For the first time it is an English archival design that has inspired a Soane floral chintz, rather than an Indian document. ‘Roses’ does feel entirely English, drawing inspiration from a late 18th-century glazed cotton, spilling over with blousy flowers associated with an English herbaceous border. Hand drawn and traditionally printed using eight screens by craftsmen in Kent, the design retains all the atmosphere of the original upon which it is based.

All of our fabrics have passed the Cigarette FR test but will either need to be used in combination with a suitable FR interliner or backcoating to meet the relevant FR standards.
