The Hand And Bamboo Fixed Door Handles

This pair of door handles is a faithful copy of an antique original bought by Geoffrey Bennison. Sold in pairs with a ‘left’ and ‘right’ hand, they are handmade in solid brass by expert metalworkers on England’s South Coast using the lost wax casting technique. These handles are fixed onto the surface of the door and do not turn.

This is an original Soane Britain design and as such is protected by registered design rights.

Details +

Available in Soane's standard metal finishes except plated finishes.

Please note that the Hand and Bamboo Handle is both hand-cast and hand-finished, so natural variations in pattern-crispness and in the finish can be present, including porosity.

Requires a pocket to be cut into the door.

All of our metal finishes are hand applied, living finishes and unlacquered, and we expect these to age and patina over time, this includes our samples.
