Etageres

Originally inspired by an early 19th century French steel shelf bought by Lulu, Soane’s modular etageres allow for immense flexibility. Made from tubular and sheet brass by Essex engineers, each ‘stage’ or shelf is articulated by ring details and topped with decorative finials. Whether low in stature, open backed or made especially to house books, this incredibly practical freestanding shelving has a physical and visual lightness that is both elegant and useful. Easily adjustable, Soane’s etageres can be neatly combined to create a run of open shelving, work around corners or can be adapted as you move from house to house!
