The Crillon Chair

This comfortable armchair is part of Soane’s Crillon collection, originally inspired by a Mid-Century French design. It is manufactured in solid steel by Dorset engineers and upholstered in London using the client’s choice of hand-stitched Soane in-house leather. Brass ‘socks’ and caps, covering the steel frame, complete the look, with the option of an alternative Soane standard metal finish.

The upholstery of this design is made using natural materials made from layers of graphite latex, organic coconut coir and organic British wool, which are naturally breathable, naturally fire retardant and offers sublimely soft padding.

Available in our Soane standard metal finishes, with exception of Antique and Polished Silver.

Passed to standard BS EN 16139:2013 Non Domestic: Test Level 1.

For an additional charge, this design can be customised with:

All of our metal finishes are hand applied, living finishes and unlacquered, and we expect these to age and patina over time, this includes our samples.

Lead Time +

14 weeks. Lead time on quantities of 6 or more will need to be confirmed in advance of order.

Lead time will start from receipt of deposit and confirmation of all specifications.

10 weeks must be allowed from receipt of COM/COL.

Delivery +

Carriage charges can be quoted upon confirmation of the delivery address.

Upholstery +

Materials: British organic wool, natural graphite latex, coconut coir, wool based interliner, webbing

COL: 50 sq ft of clean leather, free of extreme imperfections. We recommend sending an entire hide to achieve the best upholstery results.

If fabric with pattern will be used for upholstery please be aware a larger quantity may be required. Please contact us before placing the order.

If fabric will be used for upholstery a FR chemical free schedule 3 compliant spun bond interliner will be required.
