Timber Stained – Dark Beech

Made from beech wood, our timber is hand stained by craftspeople to achieve a rich, dark appearance. A fine stain is applied, followed by a clear laquer to enhance the natural characteristics of the grain, before being gently rubbed back with fine steel wool to create softness and great depth. Finally, the timber is sealed with a layer of beeswax.

All of Soane's timber complies with the EU's Timber Regulations (EUTR) and is independently certified as sustainable.
